Newbern Excel Partners with Arlington Life Shelter to Provide Hope to Arlington’s Homeless
Marketing firm Newbern Excel focused its philanthropic efforts in the month of February on the Arlington Life Shelter. After raising over ($670) the Newbern Excel team purchased and delivered cleaning products, toiletries, paper goods, cutlery, bottled water, cereal, and computer parts to the shelter. Currently housing over 80 residents, the Arlington Life Shelter plays an integral part in the community. After opening its doors on (December 3, 2018), CEO Richard Anderson and his team committed to connecting with and serving the Arlington community. Says Anderson, “We’re in the business of helping people grow. That extends beyond the office and is what motivates us to provide service wherever possible. It has been so fulfilling to see how excited my team was to get involved and what an impact this donation has already made. This won’t be a one-time thing, service is a habit and a core value of our operation.” Becky Orander, Executive Director of the Arlington Life Shelter has this to say, “Because of (Newbern Excel’s) generosity, many of our homeless neighbors now have renewed hope… because businesses like Newbern Excel, Inc. give to the Arlington Life Shelter, homeless children and families in our community have the opportunity to thrive.”
